Group Painting Exhibition

The period from August 5th to August 10th, 2022, brings us the pleasure of hosting artworks from a group of artists. The exhibition venue will be open daily from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The exhibition's opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2022, at 7:00 PM. We would be delighted to see you there.


Artists (Alphabetically):

Stratos Aslanidis was born in Nikaia, Piraeus, in May 1955. Since his childhood, he has been involved in painting. Alongside his professional career, he attended painting and sculpture classes with renowned artists. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Additionally, he contributed to the artistic decoration of the cultural center and the square of the municipal district of Proskyna in Atalanti. In recent years, he has been involved in teaching painting classes. His favorite themes include seascapes, pebbles, and nudes.


Terry Zikou was born in Munich, Germany. Already during her school years, she showed an interest in the subject of fine arts, particularly painting. Throughout her journey, she initially engaged in the preservation of artworks and later expanded her activities to the fields of iconography and painting.

From 1999 until today, Terry Zikou has been involved in the following projects: preservation of archaeological finds during excavations conducted by the Archaeological Institute of Austria in Aegina, restoration and gilding of icons for the sacred temple of Zoodochos Pigi on Academias Street in Athens, as well as historical artifacts in a gallery in Bremen, Germany. She has also been engaged in the construction of replicas of sculptures at five metro stations in Athens, at the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport in Athens, at the Kapralos Museum in Aegina for placement in the Hellenic Parliament building, at the National Gallery of Athens, and finally, on behalf of the General Secretariat of Sports.

Regarding her involvement in painting, Terry Zikou has held six solo exhibitions and participated in three group exhibitions in various cities in Greece. The themes she has explored include Byzantine iconography, monasteries in Greece, ancient sculptures, dance figures, landscapes, and still life.

Finally, she has created the stage design for the theatrical performance "Iliads," based on the ancient tragedy "Troades" by Euripides, which was staged in the theater ΩΨ.  


Eleni Karatrandou was born in Atalanti in October 1977. Her involvement in painting began at a young age, and in recent years, she has taken art classes at the "Leivadia Art Nest." She is an amateur painter with plans to continue creating artworks and exhibiting them in future exhibitions.


Maria Boutsis Kassoti is a self-taught painter. She was born in Atalanti on 12/05/1951 and has been permanently residing in Athens since 1969. She has been a lover of painting since her childhood. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has had one solo exhibition. Her works are featured in private collections, hospitals, institutions, as well as in the Aiantio Public Library of Atalanti.
